Chapters address the manufacture of ethylene and propylene oxides and glycols; acetic acid and its derivatives; industrial alcohols (ethanol, isopropanol, butanols, and higher alcohols); phenol, acetone, and methyl ethyl ketone; vinyl monomers; and monomers for polyamide, polyester, and polyurethane synthesis.
